Cloud Native Community Japan(CNCJ)は、ベンダ中立な場として、CNCFのアップストリームと日本のコミュニティ・企業・団体を繋ぎ、日本におけるCNCFおよびクラウドネイティブの普及促進を図ると共に、日本からのクラウドネイティブにおけるOSSコントリビューションおよび技術革新を促すことを目的としています。他コミュニティとのジョイントミートアップや、目的ごとに特化したサブグループやSIGも構成し活動を広げていきます。

Cloud Native Community Japan (CNCJ) operates as a vendor-neutral platform. Its purpose is to connect the CNCF upstream with Japanese communities, companies, and organizations and the goal is to promote the adoption and growth of CNCF and cloud-native technologies across Japan, while also supporting open-source contributions and technological innovations from within the country.

日本を象徴する「桜」とコミュニティの調和と繁栄を象徴する「ヒヨドリ」をモチーフとして、日本におけるクラウドネイティブとオープンソースの普及を推進するというCNCJの目的を表現しています。
The motif of the "cherry blossom" symbolizing Japan and the "chickadee" symbolizing community harmony and prosperity expresses the CNCJ's objective of promoting cloud-native and open source in Japan.
