In this session, you will learn about how Spin, the open source developer tool for building serverless WebAssembly applications, integrates with OpenTelemetry to help developers collect metrics, logs, and traces from their Spin applications. We’ll cover topics such as when to consider using Spin applications to maximize their benefits, how to configure your OpenTelemetry collector to pick up observability data, and lastly put it all together with demos that walk you through both the local development workflow as well as the process for deploying your Spin application to a Kubernetes cluster via SpinKube (an open source project that streamlines developing, deploying and operating WebAssembly workloads in Kubernetes).
