Jorge Liauw Calo, Senior Solution Engineer at Wiz, is an award-winning cloud security expert and former Google Cloud Security Architect and Practice Lead at Xebia. Now at Wiz, Jorge empowers customers with comprehensive visibility into their Cloud security, helping them proactively identify, remediate, and prevent security risks. With deep expertise in Google Cloud Security and as an authorised Google Cloud trainer, he combines technical insight and business knowledge to drive impactful security solutions. The golden days of the cloud seem to be over, just as many companies seem to be migrating into as out of the cloud. But the cloud still has some unique advantages that are hard to implement on your own.

In this talk I'll go over several of the hybrid models that might help you achieve your goals.

DevOps Engineer at Fullstaq, chindōgu Engineer at home

By day Erwin is a DevOps engineer at Fullstaq, consulting companies on how to best implement cloud native principles on the public cloud and how to develop applications to fully embrace what new technologies can offer. At night he turns into a chindōgu engineer (look it up on wikipedia, it's awesome). Tinkering with stuff like adding music to his home elevator or connecting his garage door to the internet. His presentations always come with a dose of humor and self-deprecation. And if it all works out, you'll learn something too.
