Dr. Stefan Schimanski is a long-time open source contributor, now working on "Kubernetes on Mesos" as a Distributed Systems Engineer at Mesosphere. Previously, while helping companies to build Apache Mesos based backends, Stefan got into the internals of cluster managers by contributing a lot to Mesos Marathon getting it ready for production. Before that he was leading the Linux efforts at German Air Traffic Control.
Sergiusz Urbaniak is a Software Engineer at Mesosphere working on the Kubernetes integration in Mesos. Previously he has been a software engineer at different companies like ebay and mobile.de working on distributed backend systems and found a big passion for the Go programming language.
Jonathan Boulle works at CoreOS on all things distributed and all things contained. He's contributed heavily to etcd and fleet, lead the development of the App Container (appc) specification and rkt, the first appc runtime, as well as the upstream Kubernetes project. Prior to CoreOS, he worked at Twitter on their cluster management platform based on Mesos and Aurora. He's passionate about Linux, F/OSS, the Oxford comma, and developing well-defined systems that scale.
