About this event

Kubernauts!

This month we're going to discuss schedulers and controllers in Kubernetes.

We're always looking for hosts, presenters, demos, and so on. Feel free to reach out over twitter (@baldwinmathew or @stackpointcloud) and connect.

Agenda:

6:00 - 7:00p Social

7:00 - 7:30p - Miguel Guillén - OLX Group - Openshift at OLX

OLX has been a long-time user of Kubernetes and is busy looking at OpenShift installations and how migration between upstream and OpenShift might work. We have faced multiple challenges: automated deployments, global scale on AWS, and adapting to the OpenShift way. This talk will you take you through our journey with K8S and OpenShift and the issues we fell into.

7:30 - 8:00p -   Stefan Haas - Navops - Advanced Multi-Tenancy with Kubernetes and Navops

Navops brings advanced multi-tenancy to any Kubernetes system by integrating a sophisticated scheduler that allows sharing clusters across teams and projects. This presentation will give an overview on the Navops use cases and will showcase key capabilities with a live demo.

8:00 - 8:15p - Lightning Demos

8:15 - Onwards - Social/Wrap up
