Git is a distributed version control system that tracks changes in any set of files and is usually used for coordinating work among programmers collaboratively developing source code during software development. In this session, folks will learn all the git basics they need to contribute to a real open-source project. We will guide them through the process of contributing to the CNCF glossary project maintained by CNCF.
