Hello Chicago Kubernauts!
We're very excited to announce our September event!
SPONSORED: Deploy & manage a Kubernetes + Istio cluster at AWS, GCE, GKE, DigitalOcean or Azure today! (https://stackpoint.io/clusters/new?solution=istio&utm_source=meetup&utm_medium=event_page&utm_campaign=chicago_k8s)
Massively disaggregated approaches like microservices, serverless, and APIs are becoming the norm for us all. The apps we will write increasingly depend upon these endpoints. Integration is the discipline of resilient communication between endpoints - It isn’t easy. Nuwan will introduce us to Ballerina - a compiled, type safe, concurrent programming language designed to make it simple to write microservices that integrate APIs.
Additionally, K8s introduces new challenges for the day-to-day tasks of managing application performance and gaining visibility into the underlying services. John Knoepfle will dive into insights from all three pillars of observability - logging, metrics and tracing. Covering popular solutions and auto-discovery.
Hope to see you there!
