We are proud to announce the second Cloud Native Computing Foundation Meetup in Aalborg for cloud natives. We have looked at your feedback and have created this meetup on the basis of that. We are trying to make sure that the fundamental knowledge of kubernetes is there and at the same meetup we want to show a little automation of install, tooling and continuous deployment. Furthermore we will see tools for making your cluster observable. It is important to know how to investigate problems and where to look for potential problems.
We are looking forward to seeing you.

Introduction to Kubernetes
This talk will cover the most common primitives in Kubernetes from defining a Pod to networking. After the talk, you will know its objects well enough to deploy your application to a Kubernetes cluster with confidence. You will get a solid understanding of the mechanics and components and be equipped with a Kubernetes vocabulary.

Automating installation of the “10 minute” cluster
Continuing on the example from first meet up, Arne shows how to use Terraform for automating installation of the cluster, adding tools on top of that such as the FluxCD operator (a CNCF sandbox project) for doing Gitops for Continuous Deployment.

Observability: Prometheus, Grafana and Jaeger
What can we do to see how our applications are behaving? Arne will give a short intro to the tools and install them on the cluster and use them to inspect our cluster.
