TALKS:

"Traditional Ops To Cloud Native" - Peter Brøndum, BESTSELLER
How I switched from working with a traditional ops mindset to working with the DevOps mindset and started to develop. How do we handle this in BESTSELLER and why is it cool.

"Our road to microservices - or how we learned to love async events" - Thomas Bøgh Fangel, Lunar Way
In this talk, I will present Lunar Way’s journey of breaking up our Rails monolith into a scalable microservice based architecture with a special focus on the benefits we have gained from letting go of the secureness of synchronous RPC and instead use asynchronous event-based messaging. I will present both what went well, but equally important, where we did not get it right in the first iteration.
