Versioning services is a hard topic and there is a lot of disagreement around that.
The talk is about versioning, and about versioning at two levels, using headers and and separating the structural versioning of your API and the versions of content in every endpoint. The principle is based on header for the structural parts and content-type and access headers for the content part.
A few slides and a simple coded example is used to show you the way that content-types can be used to achieve content versioning.

A challenge in frequent delivery is that a feature can take longer to deliver than the delivery cycles. Torben gives a brief historical overview over branching strategies, explains the branching strategy used for frequent delivery at Stibo Systems, and how we use feature flags to separate the release from the delivery. Torben explains how we implemented the feature flags handling and share some experiences from working with feature flags.
Bio: Torben B Haagh is section manager for cloud platform and data science at Stibo Systems. Torben started at Stibo Systems in the fall of 2015, and was part of building the first cloud native application platform at Stibo Systems.
