📋 Meetup Agenda:

17:00 - 17:30 Mingling, food and cake! (let us know if you have allergies!)

17:30 - 17:40 Meetup start and introduction

17:40 - 18:25 - Talos Linux: One (Immutable) OS to Rule Them All by Pip Oomen, Platform Engineer @Redpill Linpro. Talos Linux is Linux designed for Kubernetes – secure, immutable, and minimal. It is based on a hardened kernel and a minimal user space, i.e. no SSH, shell or console. All system management is done via a gRPC API. In this presentation the audience will be introduced to Talos Linux and be shown how to get a full-blown Kubernetes cluster up and running within minutes on a cloud platform, as well as on a developer workstation.

18:25 - 18:40 - Break

18:40 - 19:25 - Introduction to SpinKube by Mikkel Mørk Hegnhøj, Head of Product and DevRel at Fermyon. This session will introduce you to SpinKube, and how it enables you to run Spin WebAssembly applications in your Kubernetes clusters. SpinKube is an open source project that streamlines developing, deploying and operating Spin WebAssembly workloads in Kubernetes - resulting in delivering smaller, more portable applications and incredible compute performance benefits. The session will also introduce you to Spin WebAssembly applications, and compare and contrast the benefits and trade-off compared to containers.

19:25 - 19:30 - Thank you and meetup end.

Looking forward seeing you all there!😸
