CI/CD at Oath using Screwdriver (open source build platform designed for Continuous Delivery)”

Jithin Emmanuel, Sr. Software Development Manager, Developer Platform Services, will provide an overview of Screwdriver (http://www.screwdriver.cd), share how it’s used at scale for CI/CD at Oath, and answer any questions attendees might have. Jithin leads the product development and operations of Screwdriver, which is a flagship CI/CD product used at scale in Oath.

Achieving a Serverless Experience While Scaling with Kubernetes or Amazon ECS

There are many considerations when architecting to scale a Kubernetes or Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS) effectively, especially in heterogeneous environments that are composed of different machine types and sizes. To increase the cluster’s efficiency, it is crucial to choose the right instance size and type for the right workload.

In this session, Amiram Shachar is CEO & Founder of Spotinst, will discuss the two important concepts of Kubernetes: Headroom and 2 Levels Scaling. In addition, we review the different Kubernetes deployment tools, including Kubernetes Operations (Kops).

Data Agility for Stateful Workloads in Kubernetes

In this talk, Murat Karslioglu who is the VP of Products at MayaData. will present about accelerating CI/CD Pipelines and DevOps using chaos engineering & containerized storage. We will look into some of the open source tools available from MayaData to bring control of storage back to DevOps teams to retain autonomy and also build trust using Litmus testing in cloud native environment. We will introduce MayaData Agility Platform (MDAP), have a live demo of OpenEBS and Litmus to launch highly available stafeful application across zones and chaos test it.
