10:00 - 10:30: Build a moat around your Cloud Native Castle
10:30 - 11:00: Kubernetes multi-tenancy and virtualization

Build a moat around your Cloud Native Castle with Citrix API Gateway

APIs are the most valuable and vulnerable assets for any business. And, microservices style applications and Kubernetes add additional requirements and layers of complexity to API protection.

Learn how Citrix API gateway helps you to secure Ingress traffic or a service mesh to connect microservices, or both. You will also learn how to configure using Custom Resources with the Citrix Ingress controller as well as lifecycle management of API with integration of Swagger.

Chiradeep Vittal, Distinguished Engineer, and Tushar Kanekar, Director of Engineering, will discuss Ingress and mesh deployment patterns, and demonstrate how Citrix and Kubernetes work together to control north-south and east-west traffic.

Kubernetes Multi-Tenancy and Virtualization

Kubernetes offers powerful access controls, isolation, and segmentation features. However, for enterprises with multiple teams it remains a challenge to automate management of the Kubernetes configurations required for multi-tenancy.

In this session, you will learn about the available Kubernetes constructs for multi-tenancy and learn how to manage them at scale.

Yun Qin, Senior Software Engineer, and Jim Bugwadia, Founder and CEO, at Nirmata, will discuss how key concepts such as Kubernetes RBAC, identity management, namespaces, network policies, quotas, and discuss how virtualizing Kubernetes access can be achieved for scalable self-service DevOps.
