👉 Here's a sneak peek of the agenda:

18:30: Check-in and welcome 👋
18:45: 🎙️ "LLM serving at scale with Triton Inference Server and vLLM, on Kubernetes clusters" by Riccardo Freschi, Senior Solutions Architect @ AWS

Abstract: This talk explores an open-source approach to Large Language Model (LLM) inference, using Triton Inference Server with vLLM backend, on Amazon EKS. We will see how the proposed architectural pattern leverages key open-source components, including Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Horizontal Pod Autoscaler (HPA) and Prometheus Adapter for workload autoscaling, Karpenter for capacity autoscaling, Prometheus and Grafana for comprehensive observability. Join us for an overview of how to accelerate building production-grade, open-source serving platforms that balance performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Bio: Riccardo Freschi is a Sr. Solutions Architect at AWS, focusing on Application Modernization. He works closely with partners and customers, to help them transform their IT landscapes in their journey to the AWS Cloud, by refactoring existing applications and building new ones, cloud natively.

19:30: 🎙️ “Speaking Through Policies” by Guilherme Cassolato, Principal Software Engineer, and Didier Di Cesare, Senior Software Engineer @ Red Hat

In a cloud-native world, platform engineers and application developers each have their own focus areas—security, scalability, reliability, and application logic. But how do they collaborate effectively without stepping on each other’s toes? Gateway Policies provide a structured way to define responsibilities and ensure alignment across teams. This talk explores how policies in Kubernetes—like networking, security, and traffic management—enable separation of concerns while fostering collaboration. We’ll dive into real-world scenarios where policies help teams work together seamlessly, ensuring consistency, compliance, and flexibility in modern cloud environments.

20:15 - 21:00: Networking, Snacks, and Drinks 🍻🍕

It would be super cool to see you there! 👋
