🎙️ Talks
1. Contributing to a More Sustainable Cloud-Native Landscape With the Green Reviews Working Group - Niki Manoledaki (Software Engineer @ Grafana Labs | CNCF Ambassador & Environmental Sustainability TAG member)
The Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) Technical Advisory Group for Environmental Sustainability (TAG ENV) created the Green Reviews Working Group a year ago. This Working Group has an important mission: gather green metrics for CNCF projects and help them become more environmentally sustainable. How are we planning to achieve that? We are building a pipeline to gather metrics and assess the sustainability footprint of CNCF Projects, starting with Falco. We’re currently at the beginning of the implementation journey. Join us to learn more about how carbon and energy metrics can be incorporated in a cloud-native benchmark testing pipeline.
2. Observe the environmental impact of your applications - David Ricordel (Consulting Architect @ Elastic)
In this talk, I will show how observability data can be enriched to see the environmental impact of your applications/workload.
I will use as an example of how you can do that with the Elastic Universal Profiling (whose agent part is now part of the OpenTelemetry project).
3. Azure towards sustainability - Isaac Hernández (Senior Hardware Engineer @ Microsoft)
A hardware approach to improve sustainability on the cloud.
See you there 💚!
