Talks:
5 Years of OpenTelemetry at Collibra by Alex Van Boxel
Collibra has been an early adopter of OpenTelemetry, and this talk brings the war stories from building a production-grade telemetry backbone. We won’t be diving into backend dashboards—instead, we’ll look at the unsung heroes: collection, transport, routing, and curation.
OpenTelemetry’s open specification has unlocked huge potential, and this talk will show how Collibra harnesses it, what’s evolved over the years, and the challenges faced along the way.
Alex is a Principal System Architect at Collibra and a code owner of two OpenTelemetry Collector components. He’s been deeply involved in infrastructure specs and open-source projects across multiple industries.
Building an internal developer platform at N-SIDE by Erwan Grooters
For the past five years, N-SIDE has embarked on an ambitious journey to build an internal developer platform, enthusiastically integrating CNCF tools into our teams' workflows one step at a time. We will explore the critical insights and lessons learned from our experiences, showcasing not only our successes but also the failures that ultimately shaped our growth and trust.
Erwan, Principal Platform Engineer at N-SIDE, is an early adopter of cloud-native technologies and is passionate about guiding companies towards seamless adoption of these tools.
