We are excited that spring is almost upon us and covid measures are slowly lifting! We are hoping to plan some in person events in the coming moths, more news on that to follow. Join us on March 22 at noon EDT for a great talk about Dapr from Alice Gibbons at Microsoft.
The Distributed Application Runtime (Dapr) provides APIs that simplify microservice connectivity. Whether your communication pattern is service to service invocation or pub/sub messaging, Dapr helps you write resilient and secured microservices.

Build Distributed Apps Quicker with Dapr
By Alice Gibbons, Microsoft
Want to build distributed apps that are more simple, secure, portable and resilient, while still taking advantage of microservices best practices? Learn how to use Dapr to do just this.
Microservices are hard. But, while being exceedingly difficult to architect they have become an increasingly popular architecture pattern. The Distributed Application Runtime (Dapr) helps with the inherent challenges that come with building distributed applications by providing a set of consistent APIs that abstract away the complexity. In this session the audience will learn about how they can take advantage of the 'building blocks' of Dapr to make their applications more simple, secure, portable and resilient. It will dive deep into the internals of how Dapr works and how to leverage its capabilities in multi-cloud environments. The session will also include a live demo and links to additional resources that the audience can use for future learning.
