本イベントは、TAG for Operational Resilienceが主催する Cloud Native Sustainability Month 2025 の一環として開催されるローカルミートアップです。Cloud Native Sustainability Monthは、CNCFのTAGが毎年共同で開催する、クラウドネイティブおよびオープンソース分野における環境持続可能性の促進を目的とした、世界規模のローカルイベントです。これは、2023年にTAG for Environmental Sustainabilityによって開始されたCloud Native Sustainability Weekを引き継ぐイベントです。

本ミートアップでは、クラウドネイティブの実践者、オープンソースの貢献者、研究者が一堂に会し、より持続可能でレジリエントな技術をどのように構築できるかを共に考えます。東京で開催される本イベントでは、Green Software Foundation (GSF) の現在地と今後に関する講演、FinOpsとGreenOpsの進化する関係性を探るパネルディスカッション、そしてオープンソースコミュニティおよび学術会議における最近のイベントからの重要な知見の共有など、サステナビリティに焦点を当てた多彩なセッションが予定されています。

This event is a local meetup held as part of Cloud Native Sustainability Month 2025, hosted under the TAG for Operational Resilience. Cloud Native Sustainability Month is a global series of local community-led events, co-organized annually by CNCF Technical Advisory Group (TAG), with a mission to promote environmental sustainability within the cloud native and open source ecosystems. It succeeds the original Cloud Native Sustainability Week launched in 2023 by the former TAG for Environmental Sustainability, prior to the TAG's reorganization.

Bringing together cloud native practitioners, open source contributors, and researchers, this event aims to foster collaboration toward building more sustainable and resilient technologies. The Tokyo meetup will feature a series of engaging sessions — including a talk from Green Software Foundation, a panel discussion exploring the evolving relationship between FinOps and GreenOps, and a recap of key insights from recent events across both the open source community and academic conferences.
