About this event

• What we'll do
Join us for a live walk through of Kelsey Hightower's "Kubernetes the Hard Way" (https://github.com/kelseyhightower/kubernetes-the-hard-way) lead by Kinvolk engineer Michael Schubert.

While it's perfectly fine for attendees to follow along passively, we encourage attendees to bring their machines to join in as we work through each step of setting up a Kubernetes cluster from scratch. This will be a great guided introduction for first-timers and a chance for those with more experience to ask lingering questions of the Kinvolk team and other attendees.

We look forward to seeing you for an evening of shared learning and fun.

Snacks & drinks will be provided.

TALK DETAILS:

"Kubernetes the Hard Way - LIVE!", Michael Schubert

Abstract: Kubernetes the Hard Way is a tutorial written by Kelsey Hightower that walks you through each detail of manually setting up a Kubernetes cluster. The knowledge about the workings of Kubernetes is invaluable when you go to setup production clusters. The talk–more an informal workshop–will offer a chance to do this in a guided and supportive environment. All questions welcome and we'll collectively work to answer those.
