Our Tech Open Air satellite event will present a brief history and practical overview of the open-source distributed systems platform...

-----

Start-ups have the most fun when it comes to technologies. They get to start fresh and use the newest technologies. At the same time, the technology landscape is vast and decisions have to be made and some decisions are easier than others.

Google launched Kubernetes a few years ago in an attempt to bring some of the knowledge they had gathered running their infrastructure to a wider audience. The industry immediately took notice and others started jumping in. Now, the Kubernetes project is the #1 choice for new deployments and is backed by one of the most active open-source development communities around.

At this event we’ll provide background to why Kubernetes exists and its value to organizations. We’ll then get a little more hands-on and demonstrate the basics of how to run Kubernetes and get your Apps running on top of it.
