The "what" and "why" of Flatcar Linux, a friendly fork of Container Linux, Chris Kühl

Abstract: Recently we at Kinvolk announced our fork of CoreOS's Container Linux called Flatcar Linux. This talk will explore the reasoning behind the fork and touch on both the community and technical sides of the topic. It will also give an intro or refresher on what makes Flatcar Linux unique and try to address compatibility concerns. In the end, the audience should come away with answers to most of the "what"s, "why"s and "how"s of Flatcar Linux. And if there remain some, questions will be gladly answered.
