Hallo CNCRR-Meetup,

um unseren Austausch ins Rollen zu bringen, freuen wir uns, unser erstes Treffen zu initiieren. Als Rahmenprogramm haben wir einen Vortrag von Florian Aßmus (PRODYNA SE) zum Thema „Jenkins goes Cloud-Native“ organisiert. Darüber hinaus soll der Abend zum Netzwerken und Austauschen genutzt werden können.

PRODYNA SE stellt hierfür seine Räumlichkeiten zur Verfügung und kümmert sich zudem darum, Getränke und Fingerfood zu stellen.

Folgend ein Abstract des Vortrages von Florian:
The cloud-native world proclaims concepts like immutable infrastructure, dynamic scaling, configuration as code and GitOps. None of these apply to a traditional Jenkins environment with manually configured build slaves and different configurations spread all over the place. Worry not! By integrating Jenkins with Kubernetes and making intensive use of scripted pipelines, we can achieve truly cloud-native CI/CD processes even with our good old Jenkins.

Dear CNCRR-Meetup,

to kick off our Meetup we would like to initiate our first event. Florian Assmus (PRODYNA SE) will give a talk on “Jenkins goes Cloud-Native“. The remaining evening is intended to foster conversations and learning about cloud native computing topics.

Our Meetup will take place in the premises of PRODYNA SE. They will sponsor the event with cold refreshments and some finger food.
