Kubernetes is evolving, the CKA exam too!  will be updated in the coming months, but not before January 15, 2025

Here are 2 examples of changes:

• Removal of the competency “Provision underlying infrastructure to deploy a Kubernetes cluster” because since the last update that happened a couple of years ago Kubernetes usage reality is now in a managed platform.
• Introduction of a competency related to Gateway API: “Use the Gateway API to manage Ingress traffic”.
• Understand CRDs, install and configure operators

The announcement provides the list of all new competencies that will be expected if you want to successfully pass your Certified Kubernetes Administrator exam.

Please note that the exact date of when the CKA exam will be updated to reflect changes is not yet confirmed, but we know that it will not take place sooner than January 15th. We wanted to mention the change as early as possible so that you can adapt your plans if you plan to take the exam soon.
