Our speakers will be:

1. Kamil Szczygieł (Container Labs): From zero to a highly available, production grade DC/OS

How to deploy a production ready DC/OS on AWS? What tools do I need? How architecture could look like? How to do it in less than half an hour? In his talk Kamil will share his experience with automating and deploying DC/OS on AWS

2. Maciej Kwiek (Mirantis): Boosting Helm with AppController

Helm is emerging as a standard for Kubernetes application packaging. While researching it we discovered that its orchestration part can be improved. We did just that by injecting AppController right into Helm orchestration engine. This lightning talk is aimed to give users insight into advanced orchestration capabilities that AppController aims to introduce in Helm.

3. Kamil Chmielewski (Allegro): Long Latency Tail in Microservices

Largest internet companies count every millisecond. 100 ms slower response time can means millions of dollars in lost. How does it relate to microservice performance? What does it mean in terms of overall latency if one of microservices respondes under 50 ms on average but it responds longer than 150 ms for 1% of its clients? How better infrastructure utilization can affects service latency and how to balance beetwen the two to cut losses?

Doors open at 18:00, talks start at 18:30, about 20:30 we move to a pub. We are ready to host 100 folks in the room so there may be plenty of people to discuss Mesos and Kubernetes related questions with!

Please remember to unRSVP if you realize you can't make it - it will help a lot for our crew.

And make sure you follow Twitter for any updates and early announcements.
