Ignacy Kowalczyk: Autoscaling Deep Dive

Ignacy has been working at Google for over 10 years, first as a tech lead of software engineering teams working on distributed SQL query engines for big data. Last 4 years he has been managing engineering teams working on Google Compute Engine and Google Kubernetes Engine focusing on automations enabling easy deployments and scaling of user workloads running on Google Cloud. In his free time Ignacy is doing rock climbing, mountaineering, skiing and road biking.

Piotr Kliczewski: Virtualization in a container world (KubeVirt)

KubeVirt is a virtual machine management add-on for Kubernetes. The aim is to provide a common ground for virtualization solutions on top of Kubernetes.

Łukasz Szczęsny: Monitoring with Prometheus

During the presentation I will talk about Prometheus - an open-source monitoring and alerting system. I'll show how to use it and I will compare it with different monitoring solutions. In addition I will share my highly opinionated thoughts on being on-call and monitoring in general :)

Doors open at 18:00, talks start at 18:30, about 22:00 we move on to a pub. We are ready to host 100 folk in the room so there may be plenty of people to discuss Cloud and Kubernetes related questions with!
