It will be the ninth regular Kubernetes Warsaw meetup.
Location: Google's HQ - Emilii Plater 53, Warsaw - 8' FLOOR
room number: 8th floor (directly to the venue)
Our speakers will be:
1. Pini Reznik: "Why Cloud Native transformation isn’t easy?"
As a co-founder of one of the leading Cloud Native consultancies in Europe, I have been working for the last three with dozens of companies of different sizes and coming from variety of industries. During the years, I have seem many transitions going sideways and getting stuck after months or years of intense effort. In this talk I will tell stories about such transitions and show the common reasons that lead to the failures. I will also suggest the ways to increase the chance of success by using the right models, tools and team structures.
2. Tomasz Cholewa: "Things I wish I knew before starting implementing containers using OpenShift in production?"
So after you've deployed thousands of containers on test environments it's time to move on to production. Don't repeat mistakes done by others, come to listen how to solve non-trivial problems and see how to do deploy containers on OpenShift in prod.
3. Marek Siarkowicz: "Logging & Monitoring: Follow the data from the darkest corners of Kubernetes"
Doors open at 18:00, talks start at 18:30, about 22:00 we move to a pub. We are ready to host 100 folk in the room so there may be plenty of people to discuss Cloud and Kubernetes related questions with!
