CNCF tools for SysOps (Hubert Bosiacki, Suade Labs)
More than half of the total cost of a product is included after the product is developed and released, so let’s talk about containers and supporting tools from a sysadmin perspective and what challenges exist, how to look for solutions, what to take into consideration in the long term to support a
product. At Suade Labs we manage to solve problems that are beyond the main scope of typical StackOverflow pages.

Hubert Bosiacki (@HubertBosiacki) head of infrastructure at Suade Labs. In the last 6 years manage to move from traditional datacenter (with physical servers) to the modern world of cloud and containers bringing the experience and good practices to solve problems.
In his spare time, he is swimming in the ocean, playing guitar or dancing
salsa somewhere in the world.

Code to Production in less than 3 minutes on Kubernetes with Open Source tools (Rob de Canha-Knight, SUSE)
In less than three minutes, go from code on your workstation to a custom-built container images running in production and serving traffic. We'll dynamically provision databases from the command line, connect them to your app, scale the app, and debug it. All without having to write pages and pages of Kubernetes YAML!

Rob de Canha-Knight has been involved in SUSE’s own journey through creating a Kubernetes based product from the very beginning and has worked with our EMEA customers to ensure their continued success as they march headstrong into the world of Kubernetes, containers and DevOps. Find him on Twitter @rssfed23

Continuous Deployment & Operations on Kubernetes with keptn (Andreas Grabner, Dynatrace)
Our innovation lab team recently released the keptn (www.keptn.sh) – an open source framework for cloud native delivery and automated operations. Keptn now supports multi-stage delivery pipelines with automated quality gates, dark/shadow/canary/blue/green deployments and auto-remediation of container-based services on Kubernetes.
In this talk, I explain WHY we built keptn, HOW we implemented it (Event-Driven Architecture based on knative) and show HOW it works. We still have ways to go – but for this, we need the Cloud Native Community. Our goal is to contribute it to CNCF – and this presentation will get us a step closer to this goal

Andreas Grabner (@grabnerandi) has 20+ years of experience as a software developer, tester and architect and is an advocate for high-performing cloud scale applications. He is a regular contributor to the DevOps community, a frequent speaker at technology conferences and regularly publishes articles on blog.dynatrace.com.
In his spare time he is hitting the salsa dancefloors of the world.
