6:40-7:00: First Speaker
Title: Taming the JVM Memory Beast
Speaker: Steve Lowery
Summary: One organization's journey to discovering the pitfalls of moving Java based workloads to Kubernetes.

7:00-7:20: Break
We're going to try something new during the break by setting up "topic spaces" where folks can gather to discuss a particular Cloud Native topic. We'll start by putting some sheets up with general topics (e.g. Running Kubernetes, Service Meshes, Observability..) but we'll also have materials ready if members would like to create their own topic space.

7:20-7:50: Second Speaker
Title: Instant Istio
Speaker: Kurt Roekle
Summary: In this talk, the speaker will try to tempt fate and and do a live implementation of Istio. Starting with a working cluster with some simple services, we will add all the necessary configuration to add Istio into the cluster using it for both ingress and service to service communication. We will then look at the increased observability that Istio provides. If time allows, we will demonstrate some of Istio's error handling functionality.
