Talks and presentations are fun, yes. But nothing beats hands-on worshops. This Hacktoberfest, Cloud Native Mauritius is pleased to be hosting a 2 day hackathon on the 18th of October.

• For everyone new to the world of Kubernetes, you will have the chance to learn about projects created and contributed to by local Mauritians.

• If you're still not yet comfortable with Kubernetes or Linux, we will have installfests to walk you through installing Linux and adding on a number of Kubernetes distributions, be it K3s, K0s, RKE2, MicroK8s and so on.

• For those who have already established themselves in Cloud Native technologies and comfortably sit atop the vast cloud native landscape, you will have the chance to contribute to projects either in technical terms or non-technical with documentation, guides, and presenting!

Anyone who would like to share something they learnt or are working on, please reach out to Alex (or one of the other organisers), we would be thrilled to give you a platform to drive contributions to this vibrant ecosystem and the world of open source.
