6:05 AM | Building Trust in CI/CD: How We Automate, Test, Secure, and Recover Without Losing Sleep by Siddharth Vijay | Ever pushed code and thought, “Bas ab ho gaya deploy”?
Yeah... we’ve all been there. Until chaos shows up. In this talk, We’ll take you behind the scenes of the real-world CI/CD pipelines we use at scale — not the “Hello World” examples, but the ones that deal with flaky tests, failed rollbacks, prod rollouts to multiple servers, and DevSecOps gates that actually block you for good reasons.
Siddharth Vijay will walk through four major pipelines we’ve built and battle-tested:
🔹 Jenkins Pipeline with Test-suits:
Builds Docker images, runs unit tests in isolated containers, and deploys to ECS only when every check passes — with a manual confirmation step for safety.
🔹 Java Applications deployment Pipelines:
A no-nonsense pipeline that handles maintenance mode, service restarts, version syncs from QA, error log checks, and even auto-rollbacks — no fingers crossed.
🔹 Bitbucket + OIDC Deployment:
Secure and modern — this pipeline connects to AWS using OIDC, deploys static content to S3, and smartly invalidates CloudFront to make changes live.
🔹 DevSecOps Pipeline:
Combines speed and security — we scan code and containers using Trivy and detect secrets with Trofllehog. If even one check fails, prod says no.
From chaos to control, I’ll share the real lessons, mistakes, and mental models we used to build pipelines that don’t panic under pressure — even at scale. |

6:45 AM | Building High Performing Continuous Delivery Strategies and Measuring Success with DORA | In today’s competitive market, organizations that deliver software quickly and reliably gain a decisive advantage. This presentation explores advanced techniques for building high-performance continuous delivery pipelines and leveraging the DORA metrics framework to drive strategic success.
We begin by examining the foundational cultural elements essential to a successful DevOps transformation. Rather than focusing solely on tools, we delve into team dynamics, psychological safety, and overall organizational structure. Drawing on seven years of industry research, we demonstrate how a strong culture combined with sound technical practices propels elite performance.
The discussion then shifts to sophisticated CI/CD patterns—including trunk-based development, robust testing strategies, progressive delivery, and feature flagging. We will illustrate how modern practices such as infrastructure as code, embedded security, and feature flag strategies empower the creation of resilient, self-healing pipelines that enable controlled, incremental feature rollouts and guarantee rapid, error-free delivery.
For performance measurement, we focus on four key DORA metrics: Deployment Frequency, Lead Time for Changes, Mean Time to Recovery, and Change Failure Rate. We not only explain how these metrics correlate with organizational effectiveness, but also delve into the “why” and “how” behind these critical success factors. |
