About this event

For October, our feature presentation will be:

Andrew Gracely of Univa will explain how to run "mixed workloads" including Kubernetes and Mesos together:

Large enterprises adopting Kubernetes must deploy their new
microservices by focusing on how they can efficiently be integrated
into, and run alongside, existing workloads on the same cluster. This talk will discuss the complexities of deploying Kubernetes in a mixed workload world and a variety of approaches to running batch and non-containerized workloads and even Mesos frameworks in the same Kubernetes environment.

For a short feature, Josh Berkus will give demonstrations of some of the Kubernetes 1.8 features, including: Expanded KubeAdm, Jobs and CronJobs.

This meetup is generously hosted by Cloudability and refreshments are provided by Red Hat Project Atomic.
