About this event

Join us to explore how Cilium powered by eBPF, enables organizations to achieve advanced networking capabilities and seamless multi-tenancy. In this session, we will dive into advanced Cilium features like BGP, Load Balancing, LB IPAM, and Network Policies.

Kubernetes environments span diverse cloud provider specific platforms and co-located datacenters. Homogenizing best practices for network policy and traffic management involves a high degree of toil due to the uniqueness of every cloud providers, cloud networking interface (CNI). We recognize that the Kubernetes journey is not a linear progression and oftentimes container footprints will exist in multiple cloud environment. Because of this diversity of infrastructures, Cilium includes various features to account for a multitude of load-balancing schemes and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) settings. These advanced features help immensely with organizations that are looking to adopt cloud native principles even for current VM based workloads that may be highly reliant on physical hardware.

In this talk, we'll explore how utilizing a platform agnostic to enable secure and scalable networking architectures. Throughout the session, we will provide examples, configuration guides, and best practices for implementing these features effectively in real-world scenarios. Whether you are a Platform Engineer, Kubernetes administrator, or developer, this session will equip you with the knowledge and tools to optimize your Kubernetes networking architecture with Cilium.
