Eddie Knight is a Software and Cloud Engineer with a background in banking technology. As a member of Sonatype's Developer Relations team, he combines his passion and job duties by working to improve the security of open source software. Eddie is a contributor to OpenSSF, CNCF, and serves as a maintainer for the Compliant Financial Services project in FINOS. When he isn’t working or caring for his newborn son, Eddie indulges in his creative side through woodworking and writing.
Dan likes to straddle the worlds of cybersecurity and dev. He was a developer for 10 years in various languages and domains, working in startups, enterprise organizations and most in between! Previous dev roles have been at Mimecast (email security), Semantico (Academic digital publishing), Digivault (digital asset management), and Edelman (Tech arm of a PR company with focus on experiential digital). Dan has also had an interest in cybersecurity for just as long, culminating in a NCSC approved Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Security and Digital Forensics with Edinburgh Napier. Dan is a proud member of BCS, ACM and OWASP.
When not hacking, coding or talking, Dan can be found running, DJing or skateboarding!
