Observability - 101 (Linux Foundation Courses/Certifications Giveaway)
As some might say, Observability is a buzzword though everyone out there is talking about it. There are still not many resources that people can look at as an entry point into Observability. In a joint attempt by CNCG Mumbai and Code For Cause, this talk tries to do just that.
About this event
This talk is all about trying to shed some light on the following aspects:
- What is Observability?
- Why should you think of it?
- What are the different components/pillars of Observability?
- What would constitute a typical Observability stack?
- Why would you like to think of Observability as a default feature of the application?
Once we have an overview and a basic understanding of Observability as a whole. We will then dive into different CNCF Observability projects, look at what they do, how can you start contributing to them?
Hi! I'm Piyush. I currently work as a DevOps Engineer for DreamSports(primarily DreamPay and Dream11) and am a Cloud-Native enthusiast. I try to be involved with cloud-native projects primarily via interactions with the community and contributing in any capacity I can. I have been involved with the community over the last couple of years via CNCG Mumbai and happy to help in any way I can!
