For this new meetup, Derek Collison and Wally Quevedo respectively founder/CEO and senior software engineer at Synadia, kindly added a stopover in their european trip to come presenting NATS in Sophia-Antipolis. NATS (https://nats.io) is a CNCF incubating project, it's a simple, secure and high performance open source messaging system for cloud native applications, IoT messaging, and microservices architectures.

Derek and Wally will speak about a new way of thinking about connectivity and share their goal of connecting all of the world's digital systems services and devices. They will also give updates on:
- JetStream
- NGS, a global communications system built on NATS.io (https://synadia.com/ngs)
- the NATS roadmap for 2020

- Derek Collison is the creator of NATS.io, founder and CEO at Synadia Communications Inc. Among the many technical and leading positions Derek occupied, he was CTO and Chief Architect at VMWare, Technical Director at Google, Chief Architect at TIBCO. He also created and architected CloudFoundry.

- Wally Quevedo is a senior software engineer at Synadia, he is a core maintainer of NATS and uses NATS based systems since 2012. He is also the author of the book "Practical NATS".
