An OLAP database like ClickHouse would typically be deployed for managing massive datasets - billions and billions of rows - but the binary itself is lightweight and portable. When combined with K3s, we can easily create a highly available and performant mini cluster on top of consumer single-board computers like a Raspberry Pi. We'll use Ansible, K9s, Helm to manage our K3s cluster and install Cillium for bare-metal load balancing as well as the Altinity Operator for ClickHouse for managing our database-cluster persistence.
