Join us on a journey exploring scalable and cost-effective compute capabilities on top of AWS EKS. We will present our experiences using Cluster Autoscaler and Karpenter, and how these tools ended up playing different roles in our stack. We will also show how we are leveraging Kubernetes Event-Driven Autoscaling (KEDA), Vertical and Horizontal Pod Autoscalers, for right-sizing and automatic scaling of our workloads - from HTTP APIs to GPU-powered workers. We hope to share the best practices (and gotchas) we have realized along the way, providing an exclusive view into our platform and use-cases.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming industries, and the cloud native ecosystem is no exception. This talk provides a foundational understanding of AI, demystifying its core concepts and techniques. We will explore how AI works and what Neural Networks are. Building on this foundation, we will delve into the practical applications of AI in the cloud native landscape. This talk is designed to equip cloud native engineers with the essential knowledge to help the business run Data and AI solutions in a cloud native way.
