Embarking on a retrospective voyage, we sail into the high seas of building a developer platform atop Kubernetes, scaling it to cater to a global legion of over 2000 engineers and take quick peek into the captain’s log book of enlightening lessons we gathered on this exciting expedition.
Challenges faced when we was force to do a disaster recovery in Kubernetes without leveraging GitOps practices. By exploring real-world scenarios, we highlight the risks of manual recovery processes, limited visibility, coordination issues. Understanding these challenges reinforces the importance of adopting GitOps principles for more effective disaster recovery in Kubernetes environments.
