Using the Falco Open Source tool, let's explore what your application's log doesn't show, such as what is happening in tty. If someone has access to your container shell, they can download external malicious programs for an exploit or mine using its resources. We will see how simple it is to intercept these malicious actions and generate enriched events using Falco. It could also be a nice plus if you are studying for CKS.
Robert Jensen, is a Lead systems engineer, working for VMware’s Modern application platform.
I'm an ex-Sysadmin/DevOps who worked for eight years on Microsoft technologies when I had a snap that it was time for a new challenge, and I switched to "this cloud thing." Starting my studies in AWS, I migrated to a DevOps position, where I changed from water to wine and started living 100% in open source. As I love sharing knowledge and teaching third parties, these led me to migrate to this position in which I work today at Sysdig.
