Our first meetup after KubeCon 2018 North America.

In this short talk, we will walk through how we have integrated intelligent AI chatbots (e.g. Siri, Alexa, Google Assistant, etc.) to help manage Kubernetes clusters at MavenCode. By integrating AI capabilities, we are able to communicate with the cluster using voice commands and can extract a wealth of information regarding status, the number of jobs running, uptime, errors, and more. We are also able to dynamically able to control the state of the Kubernetes cluster on the fly by adding or removing pods as needed, and shutting the cluster down when it
is no longer needed. This talk will conclude with a short demonstration of Google Assistant controlling a live Kubernetes cluster in the cloud.

Timo Mechler (Architect & Product Manager) - Approximately a decade of experience in the energy commodity markets with particular focus building out scalable research platforms for commodities trading (data collection, data analysis, data modeling).
Charles Adetiloye (Lead Data Engineer) - Over a decade worth of experience consulting and implementing large-scale data processing software platforms across different industry verticals.
Previously consulted with Twitter, Monsanto, Starbucks, and a few other startups and Fortune 500 companies.
