DoK Talk | Vitess: A Cloud-Native Distributed System for Scaling MySQL" is a technical event focused on Vitess, an open-source database clustering system that scales MySQL for large applications. It currently supports MySQL and Percona Server for MySQL. It's designed to run as effectively in a public or private cloud architecture as it does on dedicated hardware. In this talk, Deepthi will give an overview of Vitess, its architecture and feature set, both as a database, but also specifically the features that make it easy to deploy in Kubernetes.
