Join us for a KubeCon NA 2024 Recap panel discussion! This Deaf in Cloud Native edition brings together members of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Working Group (DHHWG) to reflect on their experiences at KubeCon Salt Lake City.

Participants will explore key themes and trends from the conference, including major focus areas in the cloud native ecosystem and the impact of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Stories will shed light on offerings like ASL crash courses and how these efforts contributed to a more inclusive environment, as well as feedback received.

Through personal narratives, panelists will share their experiences presenting at KubeCon, engaging with the community, and their takeaways from sessions and networking opportunities. Beyond the conference, they’ll recount memorable activities that added a unique dimension to their journey, offering a window into the vibrant culture of the cloud-native ecosystem.

Everyone is invited to join, but note that the discussion will be in ALS (American Sign Language). Look forward to a dialogue on accessibility, inclusion, and the future of tech, celebrating progress and strengthening connections within our community.
