During the second installment of our Kubernetes 101 series, Rob Koch, Principal at Slalom, will delve into Kubernetes' key concepts. Join us to explore distributed computing and how Kubernetes seamlessly manages services across disparate nodes. We'll cover Kubernetes' architecture, including the control plane and API server, and how Kubernetes easily scales up and down, adapting to demand. Attendees will also learn how Kubernetes helps engineers build more resilient, secure, and observable systems and has the potential to optimize resource utilization and save costs (if implemented correctly).
To ensure this is an interactive event and optimize the experience for the live and on-demand audience, we'll be using Zoom to "meet" each other and communicate with one another (it's a meetup, after all) and YouTube to watch the presentation. We recommend you watch this on a monitor where you have Zoom and YouTube open side by side. Zoom interactions will not be recorded. We'll share the YouTube link during the meet & greet. We look forward to seeing you!
