When building resilient and enterprise-ready applications on Kubernetes, It is important to get a deep understanding what are Pods, Volumes and Persistent Volumes and how to tie it all together using StatefulSet “Ordered, graceful deployment and scaling” of Pods.
Deployments and ReplicaSets are a great way to run stateless replicas of an application on Kubernetes, but their semantics aren’t really right for deploying stateful applications.
