About this event

Welcome to a brand new Cloud Native decade! We start our regular monthly meet-ups with a meeting at Instruqt (http://instruqt.com) in Amsterdam, we'll keep it nice and not too long with just one talk and we invite members of the community to get up on stage for short lighting talks about, well, just about anything you want to discuss, cloud-native related.

The first talk is from Niels van Doorn (https://www.linkedin.com/in/nielsvdoorn/) and is about how Instruqt built and operates a learning platform on Kubernetes. The second talk is from Zamira Zaupaj.

Feel free to get in touch if you also would like to present your work in the form of lighting talks. Technical questions to the larger audience are also welcome! Or a bit of live debugging :)

Building and operating a learning platform on Kubernetes

In this presentation, Niels van Doorn will show us what lies behind the online learning platform, Instruqt. He will explain how the platform was built and how it operates now. He will also share with us how the Instruqt team manages infrastructure changes while continuously developing and improving the platform. All while being an active learning platform facilitating sandboxed environments available on-demand. Join this meetup and hear the technical challenges he and his colleagues had to overcome to make it all a success.

Control Tower and Landing Zone.

Easiest way to set up and govern a new, secure, multi-account AWS environment. It establishes a landing zone that is based on best-practices blueprints and enables governance using guardrails. Witch is the right service to use, some pros and cons. What are my security, governance, and baseline, how many account should I create? Some best practices on how to design and implement the Landing Zone.
