About this event

Hi all,

The holiday season is coming and we'd like to invite you all to a joint meetup we're hosting together with the Elastic meetup group at their offices.

RSVP's are closed here so we don't get double reservations.
Sign up at their event page: https://www.meetup.com/Elastic-NL/events/266777382/

This time we will have Sébastien, an engineer at Elastic working on our K8s integration, talk about Operators in general and Elastic Cloud on K8s specifically.

As always, we'll start at 18:30 with some pizza and beer. Talk starts around 19:00.

See you all then,
Boaz

Full abstract: Running stateful workloads on Kubernetes can be challenging. In this talk, we’ll see how ECK (Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes) implements the operator pattern to deploy and manage the lifecycle of Elasticsearch, Kibana, and APM on Kubernetes.

Speaker's bio: Sébastien is a software engineer at Elastic. He has spent most of his career working with distributed systems, building resilient applications and orchestrating Apache Kafka and Elasticsearch nodes around the world. He currently works on writing a Kubernetes operator for Elasticsearch (ECK - Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes).
