About this event

Hello and welcome everybody to the third event of the CNCF Graz chapter!

This time it's all about getting together and networking.

The host will open the event with a short welcome announcement and administrative points, then we'll have 1-2 live talks.

Afterwards we will close the event together with an open-end get-together session.

Looking forward to seeing you around :)

Talk #1: Chris Lentricchia (Isovalent)

Chris Lentricchia is many things; He is a tech marketer, an outdoorsman, a survivalist - and most recently, the founder of Operation Dvoretskyi. Operation Dvoretskyi is a US-based non-profit organization that is currently supplying aid to a member of the CNCF and his unit in the Ukrainian military.

Operation Dvoretskyi

During his talk, Chris will be speaking about harnessing the power of open communities to create and influence positive change in the world.

Talk #2: Karoly Vegh (Red Hat Austria)

Karoly "Charlie" Vegh is a Solutions Architect at Red Hat Austria, his technical areas of expertise are Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Ansible.

3 Layers of Compliance Automation with RHEL and Openscap

Linux configuration automation thanks to Ansible is not witchcraft. However, different sectors (healthcare, finance, public sector...) place different requirements on Linux servers so that they can be described as compliant in the respective audits. What possibilities do we have to evaluate and fulfill these requirements in an automated way? In this session we will demonstrate three levels of compliance automation live.
