CNCF Series~2 Runtime Security for Kubernetes with Falco

Istanbul

May 27, 2021, 4:00 – 5:00 PM (UTC)

Virtual event

About this event

Abstract:

Falco (https://falco.org/), the open-source cloud-native runtime security project, is a Kubernetes threat detection engine. Falco was created by Sysdig in 2016 and is the first runtime security project to join CNCF as an incubation-level project. Falco detects unexpected application behavior and alerts on threats at runtime.

We will talk about how we can secure our clusters beyond image/code/dependency scanning. We will explore falco from scratch and we will discuss real-world use cases for everyone(startups to enterprises even personal projects). Finally we will discuss more options beyond falco and we will explore more thorough security practises.
