Speaker: Iqbal Syamil (Sophomore Student, Telkom University)

Iqbal is a freelancer & open source enthusiast. He is currently a sophomore student of Informatics at Telkom University, and Cloud Native Bandung co-organizer. At this talk, he will share the core concepts of Kubernetes, including Pod, Deployment, ReplicaSet, and Service. He will give demo about this concept with Kubernetes visualizer.

Talk #2 (Intermediate track): ̛Intro to SONA CNI for Kubernetes Networking

Speaker: Aris Risdianto (Open Networking Foundation Ambassador)

At this talk, he will give an intro to SONA-CNI for Kubernetes Networking. SONA (Simplified Overlay Network Architecture) is one of the applications in ONOS (Open Networking Operating System) SDN Controller, which providers L2 or L3 network for VM in OpenStack or containers orchestrated by Kubernetes. With SONA-CNI which is based on OpenvSwitch, Kubernetes no longer needs a Kube-proxy to connect between containers and outside world.
