Q: I'm waitlisted (RSVP full), can I still come?
A: Yes you can, but please come earlier than others to guarantee seat. We do RSVP to make approximation on how many will come, for smaller venue we usually make smaller RSVP slot.
Q: Why are we doing shared Q&A Panel?
A: We often received feedback that our Q&A session is very limited, and hallway track has long queue to ask the speaker question. Based on experiment, shared Q&A Panel (merge Q&A session of all speakers to the end) increases engagement from participants.
Q: What is hallway track?
A: This is Kubernetes and Cloud Native global community philosophy. You come to meetup event to engage with the speakers or other participants, otherwise it's just the same as watching youtube video. Make use of the "hallway" (i.e. event meetup space) to discuss anything with anyone, network with people, who knows the next big open source project comes from this!
Hi Jakarta Kubernauts! It's the time of Kubernetes meetup again. Welcome to our sixth episode of Kubernetes meetup in Jakarta. This June meetup is sponsored by Kitabisa. Kubernetes just turned 5 years old, we are planning to have birthday celebration on July meetup.
We are starting this meetup to help people getting aware of Kubernetes power, learning how people use and contribute to it. If you are new to Kubernetes, don't worry since we aim to spend 1 talk in every episode to walk you through Kubernetes fundamentals by following standard curriculum. For avid user, we also have the other talk for more intermediate/advanced topic. We will also try to walk you through the sea of update in Kubernetes and cloud native community every month.
